Annalee Moore is an accomplished business leader with over 35 years of experience in the insurance and wealth management space. She served for many years at Sun Life Financial, a leading international financial services organization, most recently as Assistant Vice-President, Business Management Distribution Services and previously as Assistant Vice-President, Insurance Business Development. Her previous tenures include leadership positions at Manulife Financial, Clarica Life Insurance and Mutual Life. Throughout her 11+ years career at Sun Life, she has led several teams focused on helping advisors and distribution partners in their efforts to grow sales, optimize processes and support large and complex cases.<\/p>\n

In her position as Director, Large Case Support at Manulife Financial, she created a new team and developed new processes, roles and accountabilities across the organization to improve service, effectiveness and customer satisfaction, leading to increased sales accounting for 35% of new insurance premiums annually.<\/p>\n

As Director, Savings and Retirement Products at Clarica Life Insurance, she led Product Development and Marketing teams accountable for the development, pricing, profitability, marketing, promotion, and training of savings and retirement products representing assets under management of $30.4 billion. Under her leadership, her teams contributed to growing the firm\u2019s asset base by an additional 10%.<\/p>\n

In her role as Demutualization Team Leader when Mutual Life was moving from a policyholder owned to a publicly owned company, she led a highly technical actuarial team responsible for developing value distribution models for policyholders and presented recommendations to Boards of Directors and Government officials for approval of the value distribution allocation representing $1 billion in shares\/cash.<\/p>\n

In a previous role at Mutual Life, she led a team accountable for large insurance policies and contributed to growing the business from 5% of new annualized life insurance premium to 30%. She also helped to create over 100 customized life insurance products for affluent customers and developed marketing strategies that increased sales by over 200%.<\/p>\n

He helps companies develop and implement integrated governance, certified management systems, and transformational leadership. Dr Kravatzky is the President of the European Chamber of Business in Trinidad & Tobago (EUROCHAMTT), was the founding Chair of the Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute (2012-2016), and co-led the development of ISO 37000 Governance of organization \u2013 between 2017-2021.<\/p>\n

He is currently the convenor of ISO\/TC309\/WG1 Guidance on the governance of organisations, which is developing ISO 37011 Purpose-driven organization\u2014Guidance. Dr Kravatzky is currently the only accredited trainer for the UNDP SDG Impact standards in the Caribbean and a contributing expert in ISO\/PC 343, developing ISO-WD 53001 Management systems for the UN Sustainable Development Goals\u2014Requirements. He is also an accredited trainer of Natural Capital for Business Decision-Making and is an IFRS\/ISSB FSA Credential Level 2 candidate.<\/p>\n

Dr Kravatzky works with executives and boards internationally, with clients concentrated in the Caribbean, Europe, and the Gulf states. He is an experienced Non-Executive Director, including Dialogue Solutions Ltd. He is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) and Social Value International.<\/p>\n

Dr. Colin A. Young, in his role as Executive Director of the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC), stands at the forefront of climate resilience efforts in the Caribbean. The CCCCC is an inter-governmental organization, mandated by CARICOM's Heads of Governments, to coordinate the Caribbean\u2019s response to climate change. Under Dr. Young\u2019s leadership, the CCCCC functions as a Regional Direct Access Entity to both the Green Climate Fund and the Adaptation Fund as well as bilateral partners, amplifying its impact on climate resilient initiatives across the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

Before his tenure at the CCCCC, Dr. Young was the Chief Executive Officer of the Social Security Board in Belize from 2017 to 2019. Here, he championed significant reforms including contribution reform, technology transformation, and spearheading key legislative changes to enhance the organization\u2019s effectiveness, efficiency and service delivery. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Forestry, Fisheries, the Environment, and Sustainable Development, where he oversaw critical portfolios that embraced climate change, sustainable development and environmental policies. Additionally, as CEO of the Ministry of Energy, Science and Technology and Public Utilities from 2012 to 2015, he drove initiatives that blended innovation with sustainable energy strategies and that resulted in the development of Belize\u2019s National Sustainable Energy Strategy and Action Plan as well as Belize\u2019s National Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy and Action Plan.<\/p>\n

Dr. Young\u2019s extensive board experience includes influential positions such as a member of the Green Climate Fund, and directorship roles in significant Belizean organizations like Belize Telecommunications Limited, and the Protected Areas Conservation Trust. He has also been actively involved with key environmental NGOs, Friends for Conservation and Development, and Programme for Belize, which manage the country's largest protected areas.<\/p>\n

An accomplished scholar, Dr. Young earned both his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Connecticut. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and anthropology from Marlboro College in Vermont. Dana L. Munnings-Gray serves as the Superintendent of Insurance at the Insurance Commission of The Bahamas. Mrs. Munnings-Gray has both regulatory experience and extensive industry knowledge in the financial services sector. She is a former Manager of the Supervision Department at the Securities Commission of The Bahamas and has held various senior managerial positions with financial institutions in The Bahamas and The Cayman Islands, including head of Risk and Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Munnings-Gray was called to the Bar of England and Wales as a member of the Honourable Society of Gray\u2019s Inn, and to the Bahamas Bar as an Attorney in 2014. Mrs. Munnings-Gray holds both a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Political Science and Business Management from the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota, United States, and obtained a Bachelor of Law \u2013 LL. B (Hons) from The University of Buckingham in England, while completing her Bar Professional Training Course at City University in London, England.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Munnings-Gray served as a Financial Expert on the assessment team of the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF), is a Member of the Bahamas Bar Association and she holds the designation of CFCS, CCCS, CAMS and FICA respectively. She also acquired a designation as a Trust Estate Practitioner (TEP), Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional in Insurance and Reinsurance - CRCMP(Re)I, Certified International Risk Manager (CIRM), a Specialist Certification in Financial Crime Risk in Global Banking and Markets, Crypto Crime Compliance and currently occupies an observer status with The Bahamas Association of Compliance Officers (BACO). Dr Phillips has been employed by the Ministry of Health and Wellness as a clinician and a public health administrator since 2001. Arthur is also an Associate Lecturer in Public Health with the University of the West Indies.<\/p>\n

From August 2023 Arthur has been working as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer. In that role Arthur:
\nAdvises the CMO on technical, public health, and policy matters related to assigned strategic and programmatic areas; Provides leadership on matters related to public health, policy implementation and health sector management; and facilitates programme development, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with national and international stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Arthur Phillips obtained his medical degree from UWI, Cave Hill. He has Masters degrees in Public Health and in Health Economics and Heath Policy both from the University of Birmingham, in the United Kingdom. As Associate Lecturer in Public Health Arthur contributes to the Bachelors of Health Science, to the Social and Preventive Medicine component of the Medical degree the Post Graduate Diploma in Health Service Management and Policy and the Masters of Public Health.<\/p>\n

Arthur was part of a group that received a National Award, the Gold Award of Achievement, in April 2021 for contribution to the national COVID-19 effort. Heather Timothy, FCII, is a seasoned insurance professional with over 15 years of experience in the Caribbean general insurance industry. She currently serves as the Regional Project Coordinator for the Climate Risk Adaptation and Insurance in the Caribbean (CRAIC) project at CCRIF SPC, where she supports the development, institutionalization, and scaling of a parametric microinsurance solution across CCRIF\u2019s member countries.<\/p>\n

Throughout her career, Heather has managed complex reinsurance programs covering over US$20 billion in exposures across multiple jurisdictions and has played a pivotal role in disaster response efforts following major regional events, including Hurricanes Irma, Maria, and Dorian. Her areas of expertise include reinsurance negotiation, administration and training, catastrophe reinsurance claims recovery, insurance portfolio management and policy wording development.<\/p>\n

Heather is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Anglia Ruskin University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies (First Class Honours) from the University of the West Indies. Dr. Kenrick W. Williams is the Chief Executive Officer in Belize\u2019s Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management. He provides oversight to key national institutions, including the Department of the Environment, Forest Department, National Biodiversity Office, Climate Change Office, Meteorology Service, National Fire Service, NEMO, and the Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT).<\/p>\n

Dr. Williams has more than 15 years of experience in socio-environmental management and sustainable development, working across government and non-government sectors in Belize, Indonesia, and Taiwan. He holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies and a Master\u2019s degree in International Environmental Sustainable Development from institutions in Taiwan. He also holds degrees from the University of Belize and Galen University.<\/p>\n

His research and policy work center on biodiversity management, green finance, and sustainable development. He has served as Environmental and Social Specialist at the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre, Policy Advisor to the UNDP BIOFIN Project, Adjunct Professor at Galen University, and Policy and Environmental Lead at PPF Capital Belize Ltd.<\/p>\n

Michelle has been in the software industry her entire career, starting as a university student with Informix Software in the 90s. She spent several years in the enterprise management software space with Computer Associates and VMware. She moved into the insurance and financial services solutions industry in 2004 with SunGard Insurance and has remained in the industry for the last 20+ years focusing on life insurance systems transformations, digitization, and business process optimization for L&A Carriers of all sizes.<\/p>\n

Michelle has held Senior Sales positions at iPipeline and Vertafore prior to joining Sapiens in January of this year. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with a Minor in Marketing from Webster University. Michelle holds the prestigious Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) designation and an MBA, underscoring her expertise in leadership and development.<\/p>\n

Michelle\u2019s career journey spans over 3 decades, which includes a career in banking, insurance sales, and leadership roles in Business Development, Recruitment, Learning & Development, and Customer Retention. A former Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifier, she has earned global recognition for her contributions to the industry.<\/p>\n

Dr Soares-Wynter is a Clinical Nutritionist at the Caribbean Institute for Health Research (CAIHR), The University of the West Indies (UWI) in Kingston, Jamaica. She holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Natural Sciences, and Masters and Doctoral degrees in Nutrition from UWI.<\/p>\n

Suzanne is the Lead Nutritionist on several collaborative projects identifying causal diet-disease relationships as well as interventions to reduce cardiometabolic disease risk and outcomes.\u00a0 Currently, in addition to research assessing and climate change and community resiliency, she is the Principal Investigator for a multi-level, two-country (Jamaica and Barbados) study examining the impact of school food environments on children\u2019s nutritional status, retail food environments, and nutrient profiles. These studies contribute to evidence for informing the development, implementation, and evaluation of national and regional (Caribbean) healthy food policies for school nutrition and food labelling standards.<\/p>\n

She provides technical advice to advocacy and government entities driving healthy food and obesity prevention initiatives and policies.
